My longish narrative poem, “The Garden” has just appeared in the Summer 2023 issue of Gyroscope. The poem is set in a community garden in a neglected neighborhood of Los Angeles, and explores the relationships of the residents across time, in a snapshot moment when a new tree is brought in and planted.
