I was a finalist in this year’s Donna Tartt Fiction award, run by theLivingston Press at the University of West Alabama. And as a finalist, I was included in the anthology the contest publishes each year, under the auspices of editor Joe Taylor. Tartts Nine: Incisive fiction from emerging authors

The story chosen for the anthology, out of the collection I submitted, is “Fade to Gray,” which I consider one of my best. And there are nine other stories by the other finalists and the winner. Good ones, too.
