This is my third short story to be published in September, which I thought was going to be a bit of a dead month. Glad to be wrong!
You can read “The River” in the Maple Tree Literary Supplement, a Canadian literary journal, as you might have guessed from the name. They did edit it a bit to conform to Canadian style, but the changes were small, and I am happy with it.
