This is the second story of mine that Off Course has published. “Dream House” follows a Los Angeles couple to a house in the city’s fabled hills, where the festivities are interrupted by an audacious intrusion of the natural world. Of course questions arise about the form that urban development has taken in La-La Land, and the value of good pavement…. Perhaps the name of the journal itself best describes our plight.
