This is my second time as a finalist in a Short Édition contest. Throw me some votes, friends, if you like the story. I promise you, should I win one of their cash prizes, I’ll spend it on food…you know, chocolate, wine, all kinds of food.
And if you’re a writer yourself, keep an eye on the site. They have contests a couple of times a year, and some stories entered will be chosen to go in their short-story vending machines, which they place in train stations, libraries, coffeehouses, and so forth. And they pay for those stories!
