Good news for me from Short Édition:
“Congratulations! Your story, “Noodles for Breakfast,” has been selected as a finalist in the Button Fiction Spring Contest. We received over 250 submissions, and yours has made it into the top 30. That’s no small feat.”
See all the finalists here.
Or go straight to my story here (and vote for it, please!).
This is my second time as a finalist in a Short Édition contest. Throw me some votes, friends, if you like the story. I promise you, should I win one of their cash prizes, I’ll spend it on food…you know, chocolate, wine, all kinds of food.
And if you’re a writer yourself, keep an eye on the site. They have contests a couple of times a year, and some stories entered will be chosen to go in their short-story vending machines, which they place in train stations, libraries, coffeehouses, and so forth. And they pay for those stories!
