“The Wedding”

My short story, “The Wedding,” has just come out in North Dakota Quarterly, published by the University of Nebraska Press. The fiction editor cut the short last paragraph, but the story still works; it just works differently. Better plot-wise, less so theme-wise.

I just received the very handsome (and easy to read) print edition of the magazine in the mail, but the editors have decided to offer a PDF version (temporarily) for free, since so many folks are struggling financially in lockdown. Pick up either one at North Dakota Quarterly.
